Jane Hubbard, a Cambridge native, has done extensive research into the history of the town. She has the following archives "at her fingertips":

Cambridge Births, Deaths and Marriages from 1780s to 1997
Town Records to 1820 + miscellaneous oddments
Data from Civil War lists of eligible men, and from the memorial book.
Land Records, complete for 1st 3 volumes + miscellaneous data
Probate Records selected from Franklin & Lamoille County Records and a few from Chittenden County.
Items of Genealogical Interest from the first volume of the Newsdealer (complete) and the Cambridge Transcript (incomplete)
Miscellaneous Lamoille County Court records (In progress)
Cemetery Records from the WPA collection, updated and corrected in some instances.
Census Records from 1791 to 1910 Complete, 1920, 1930 in progress
Earliest tax book complete, others in progress.
Short Bios from "mug books", histories, gazateers, genealogies etc

She is willing to share these with researchers free of charge, but will charge for any additional information
