New Email and Webmail Platform!
Please read the following information regarding this transition carefully..
Green Mountain Access customers now have access to Google Apps including calendar, instant messaging, drive/docs, personal website services and more. You can use just email or take advantage of any of the other services that will be available to you. Please read the following information regarding this transition carefully.
Your Webmail contacts will automatically be migrated to Google Mail.
Changing Your Email Settings
We will implement a temporary service that will allow third party mail clients like Outlook, Eudora, Thunderbird, etc., to continue to work until you have an opportunity to update your email client settings. Some smartphone clients may continue to work with Google Apps and some may not, depending upon how these phones are setup to access email. Unfortunately, the temporary service cannot resolve this. If you encounter issues accessing your email on your smartphone, please visit http://www.google.com/mobile for directions following the migration. Important: Do not alter your email client or smart phone settings prior to the migration.
While you may be familiar with Google’s free email service (Gmail) this is different. Green Mountain Access is bringing you the premium version of Google Apps designed specifically for Internet Service Providers. Messages are only screened for SPAM and Viruses just as they are by Red Condor.
Best of all, our local technical support is here and ready to assist you with your needs. You get the most advanced email and web tools and the best local support team available. It's the best of both worlds! This migration will also bring the following:
- Increased Email Storage: 15GB of combined email and Drive storage.
- Spam and Virus Protection: Built in spam and virus protection for your email is effective and easy to manage.
- Enhanced Calendar: Easy to use and powerful calendar that you can customize to meet your individual or businesses needs.
- No Advertising: Unlike free Gmail, our Google Apps implementation is ad-free.

We will continue to notify and update our customers with information throughout the conversion process. The conversion is currently scheduled to begin the evening of October 30.
All email will be backed up and migrated to the new email system. In addition, we will import your address books from our existing webmail systems. If you use a POP email client, your mail and address books are stored locally on your computer and will remain there. Once we begin the migration, the new servers will begin to send and receive new email. Any existing email and folders stored on our servers will then be transferred over. If you chose to move your personal address book from your own email client, you can import that as well. The transfer of old email will take some time so it may take up to 48 hours for all old mail to reappear in your new email box.
