Sept 27, 2008Time for Fall Disc Golf
Wow!!! What a summer of disc golf VT has had. World Class Pros took on North Calais and Sugarbush. The first annual Green Mountain Points Series resulted in sending Johnny Betts to the USDGC (keep an eye on him at the USDGC website. There is a movement to get a disc golf course in the city of Burlington. Now its time to sit back and relax and enjoy some back to the basics Vermont disc golf. So come on out for the 7th annual (I think?) Fall Platter at Center Chains in Waterbury Center. There is no preregistration, there are only 4 divisions and we guarantee that we will payout something to at least 75% of the people to play. Go check out the details on the EVENTS page
Aug 25, 2008GMPS Finals at Calais
The first ever state-wide disc golf point series in VT is going to culminate with a single day tourney at beloved North Calais. Unlike other tourneys in the series, this one is open only to VT residents, or members of the GMDGC or other VT disc golf clubs. Registration is open and in good ole fashion North Calais style is snail mail or "show up on Todd's doorstep with cash in hand" style. Check out the Events Page for the registration form. This is the last chance to scrounge up a few extra points and take home some bragging rites and maybe some $ or booty as well. Hope to see everyone there.
Aug 14, 2008The GMPS Keeps on Rolling

Burlington Disc Golf is ON
The dream of a disc golf course in Burlington is no longer just a dream. Approval has been granted to move forward with the project and a seriously dedicated group of people is working to get this course installed over the next couple of months. The GMDGC has been providing assistance with course design and will be helping lead the charge during the installation phase. There are many opportunities to help make this a reality. Details on how you can help on the BTown Disc Golf website. Even if you can only offer a couple of hours, it would be greatly appreciated and every set of hands helps.

Apr 26, 2008Season Opener
May 1 is fast approaching and that means disc golf season in Waterbury, VT is open for the season. That also means it is time to do a little spring cleaning. We are planning a Work Day on May 3 at 9AM. We have some wood chips to spread like we did last year and maybe some other minor clean up projects to take care of. This is the one time during the year we ask for some help with the course and the more hands we get to help the faster the work will go.
If you can make it, please bring the following:
- work gloves
- Wheelbarrow
- shovel
- metal rakes
With enough helping hands we will be done by lunch and then folks can spend the afternoon tossing plastic.
Sap Bucket Open VI
The Sap Bucket is almost filled (with players - not with Sap). Only 20 spots left. If you want to play, the best way is to REGISTER HERE before the end of the week. Hope to see you there!
